All year long we enjoy great
times together! Some of the most exciting times are spent
serving our Lord together. While we want to have an impact
on the people in our immediate Tigard area, we also believe
God wants to use us to reach those around the world.
Here are some of the things that
you can do to be a part of God's plan to reach the

Compassion Child
God has given us the privilege of being a blessing
to a child in Mexico. Jaciel Hernandez lives in Mexico and was born on May 19, 1998.
Through our support, Jaciel has the opportunity to go to school, and
receive the needed supplies and resources to do so, and to enjoy a good life. Most
importantly he has the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus and learn all about
His love for him.

30 Hour Famine
Each February we join with thousands worldwide in
the World
Vision sponsored
30 Hour Famine. We gather together over the course
of the 30 hours and don't eat. During that time we
also worship together, are instructed on our role in meeting
the needs of those less fortunate than ourselves, and we
participate in a service project. Each participant
raises pledges from people to go hungry for the 30 hours,
and all the proceeds are then sent to World Vision to be
used in ministering to the needy in different areas of the

Worship Team
Every Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday we are led in a time
of worship through singing by our very own 180 Student Worship Team.
They also lead the High School Second Wednesday Worship (2W2), which
is an entire night dedicated to worshipping God by using many of our gifts.

Student Leadership Team
Our High School Student Leadership Team is here for you!
We're a group of high schoolers that is here to lead by example, to serve
you, and to encourage you.
We have been involved in writing encouragement
cards, painting the Youth Center, planning different events, decorating
for events, serving at events, and praying for the students in our group. If you have a
desire to lead by serving, this might be the team for you!

Mission Trip to Mexico
Our High School students spend two weeks in Ensenada, Mexico each July & August ministering
to children, teenagers, and adults. We build a house for a desperately needy family, serve
breakfast to children and their mothers, give clothing to many families, and preach and live
out the gospel of Jesus by loving the people of Ensenada. We do our Mexico outreach through
the ministry of missionaries Tim & Kathy Johnston.

Mexico Children
In addition to giving to our Compassion kids, we support the children in the same town
near Ensenada, Mexico where we travel each year.
The children of the village receive clothing, food, school supplies in part through
our support. Missionaries Tim & Kathy Johnstone distribute the items as needed.
